Here at Healthwatch Barking and Dagenham, we are currently undertaking a project to understand the needs of local people when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
We’re aware that so much of our lives have been disrupted by the COVID pandemic these past two years and that it has changed the way we think, the way we feel, and what we are able to do.
It is also very clear that the pandemic has had a major impact the food that we eat, the exercise that we get, and the state of our mental health.
Therefore, we would like to find out more about how these changes have affected people that live and work in the borough. You can tell us about ways of staying healthy that have worked for you, services that need to improve and are missing, or any other feedback you may have on services related to healthy living.
we would like to see what it’s been like for local people living and working in the borough. What’s worked for you? What needs to improve and any feedback you may have on healthy living services.
Healthwatch Barking and Dagenham is the local independent consumer champion for health and social care within a national Healthwatch England framework. We aim to give our citizens and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided for people in Barking and Dagenham.
By sharing your story, you will help us better understand the needs of local residents when it comes to keeping healthy. This is an anonymous survey and you will not be required to provide any identifying information. Any personal information you do provide will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone else. We only ask that you be as honest as you can; we are not here to judge, only to make our borough a healthier place to live.
Thank you in advance! And, as a special bonus, everyone who takes part will be entered into a free prize draw for the chance of winning £25 worth of vouchers!
